Calendar of Upcoming Events Saturday, April 7th at 10 am - Annual Easter Egg Hunt Mark your calendars! The annual Evergreen Meadows Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 7th at 10 am at the baseball field on Prairie Dog and Grizzly Way. The Easter Bunny will hide eggs in the fields and be available for photos after. Please come join your neighbors and bring your kids to join in this celebration. The Easter bunny's helpers need lots of help stuffing eggs (over 400 of them). Adults are needed to come to an Egg Stuffing Party on Wednesday, April 4th at 5 pm at Cathy Goodheart's house. Please call or email for the address and to RSVP. (303)670 8180; If you haven't been to an Egg Hunt it is very fun! The fields are sectioned off by age groups, and the youngest children get to find eggs first. Then the following age groups are let go at 2 minute intervals. As you can imagine the "hunting" gets more competitive as the kids get older! Each age group has one golden egg hidden amongst the rest, which can be redeemed for a special prize from the bunny. The weather is typically cold, muddy, and or snowy. Please come dressed with this in mind. Saturday, August 18th Neighborhood Picnic After a hectic summer, why not enjoy an afternoon in the neighborhood for a relaxing picnic? You can visit with old neighbors and meet new ones. If you have any outdoor games you'd like to bring, we'd love it! The picnic will be held at the ball field (Prairie Dog and Grizzly Way) on Saturday, August 18th from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Thursday, August 30th at 7 pm - Board Meeting - All are welcome Held at Conference Baptist Church located at Hwy 73 & N Turkey Creek Rd Thursday, October 25th at 7 pm — EMHA Board Meeting and EMHA Annual Meeting Held at Conference Baptist Church located at Hwy 73 & N Turkey Creek Rd Monday, December 17th Lighting Contest The judging for the neighborhood Lighting Contest will be held the night of Monday, December 17th. Winners will be announced shortly after and awarded a membership dues waiver for next year. 
Recent Events (the past year) Thursday, February 23rd at 7 pm - Board Meeting - All are welcome Held at Conference Baptist Church located at Hwy 73 & N Turkey Creek Rd Tuesday, December 20th — Annual Holiday Lights Contest The judging for the neighborhood Lighting Contest will be held the night of Tuesday, December 20th. Winners will be announced shortly after and awarded a membership dues waiver for next year. The winners are in for the 2011 Holiday Lighting Contest: 1st place - 7755 Swaps Trail - This house went all out! They had animated reindeer, inflatable Santas (yes, multiple), an inflatable snowman and tons of lights everywhere 2nd place - 8064 Native Dancer - A very close second with lot of lights, a huge snowglobe, Santa and reindeer, and snowflakes. 3rd place - 27658 Whirlaway - Nice lights on house and surrounding trees. Thank you to all who participated and hope you're enjoying the Holiday Season! Thursday, August 25th at 9 am - Berrian Mountain Hike The EMHA will lead a hike to the top of Berrian Mountain on Thursday, August 25th, leaving the trailhead at 9:00 am. The hike takes roughly three hours roundtrip. It is a fairly strenuous uphill climb with an elevation gain of roughly 1000 feet. If it is a nice day, we encourage you to bring a bag lunch to enjoy at the peak, where you can see Denver to the east, Indian Peaks to the north, Mt Evans to the west, and the Conifer Town Center to the south! Berrian Mountain is the peak that towers over Armadillo Trail on the east side of our subdivision.
